- Iowa
Program for Assistive Technology (IPAT)
The Iowa Program for Assistive
Technology (IPAT) is Iowa's grant project under the Assistive
Technology Act (ATA) of 1998. IPAT's goals are to promote and
create systems change in the state with regards to assistive
technology (AT) and it's use. IPAT works with consumers and
family members, service providers, and state and local
agencies/organizations to promote assistive technology through
awareness, training, and policy work.

Able Foundation
The Iowa Able Foundation helps
Iowans with disabilities, their families and older Iowans access
adaptive devices/equipment and home modifications through its loan
programs.
Iowa Able offers an alternative
financial solution by providing low interest loans with flexible
terms to help individuals increase their independence at home, at
work, and in the community. This statewide, nonprofit program will
loan funds for any item, piece of equipment or product that is used
to improve an individual’s quality of life.

Easter Seals Nebraska provides
services to children and adults with disabilities and other special
needs, as well as support to their families.
Mobility-Reimbursement
You
could be eligible for up
to $1,000 in financial assistance toward the cost of adding adaptive
equipment to an eligible new vehicle.
