MPS is
the hand control recommended most
often by rehabilitation driving specialists. Installation requires a
minimal amount of vehicle modifications. Available only for vehicles with
automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes. All hand controls
and accessories are available for either right or left handed operation.
The MPS-1A uses a natural method for
brake and accelerator movement. It is almost a "must" for a
person with severe hand and wrist weakness.
The MSP Monarch-1A operates smooth ,
offering miles and miles of relaxed driving. The brake is applied by
pushing the operating handle toward the brake pedal. Moving the handle
toward the drivers seat activates the accelerator. The brake and
accelerator may be operated separately or simultaneously. Installation of
the MSP-1A requires a minimum modification to the vehicle. It may be used
for either right or left hand operation. It does require an automatic
transmission, power steering and power brakes.
Brake Only Option:
The brake only control is available for persons with sufficient foot
motion and strength to operate the accelerator but not the brake. Should
an accelerator control become necessary, the needed components can be
added to the existing control.
Toggle Type Dimmer Switch and Horn
Button:
A toggle type dimmer switch and separate Horn Button are available for use
with “Monarch Mark 1-A” or brake only hand control.
